Opaque black gesso for the preparation of all substrates before painting (canvas, cardboard, paper, wood, etc.). This primer dries quickly and has a matt surface that improves the adhesion of paint layers.

The Artist Acrylics Black Gesso has a higher concentration of pigment than the Studio Acrylics range, which makes it more covering.

If you don’t want the original color of your canvas to be painted, then choose the transparent Gesso.
