Pebeo Artists Retouching Varnish is a very fine and discreet varnish based on solvent for oil painting. Colorless interlayer varnish is designed to eliminate matte areas of withered painting. It is used in smaller areas, during painting, to correct coats which sometimes accidentally produce an unwanted matt sheen. Gives temporary protection and can easily be restored. Quickly dries (about 15 minutes) and can be used as a temporary fixative varnish.
