Marabu a-system spray is a premium spray paint of the next generation. Instructions for use:

Pre-treatment:

All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from rust and grease. Sand surfaces beforehand if necessary. Wood: dry sand with grain size P 240. Metal: Dry sand with grain size P 400-P600, apply a primer to ferrous metals.

Preparation:

Shake the can until you can hear the mixing ball. Then shake thoroughly for a further 2 minutes. Briefly spray the can and perform a test spray before the first application.

Handling:

Always hold the Marabu a-system spray can in a vertical position.

Spray coats:

Spray on a thin undercoat and apply several opaque spray coats after 3 – 5 minutes. Observe a drying time of 3 – 5 min. between 2 spray coats. A spray coat corresponds to a dry film thickness of approx. 30 µm.

Spraying distance:

Approx. 10 -25 cm

Drying:

The following information refers to a dry film thickness of approx. 60 µm (2 spray coats), a temperature of 20°C and relative humidity of 50%. Dust-dry: drying level 1 according to DIN 53150 20 min. Touch-dry: drying level 3 according to DIN 53150 70 min.

As with all water-based paints, the drying times of the Marabu a-system spray are also heavily dependent on the ambient temperature and relative humidity in particular. Low relative humidity leads to shorter drying times and high humidity leads to longer drying times.

Further processing:

The paints can be recoated at any time with the same product.

After finishing the work:

Turn the can around and spray the valve until it is empty after finishing the painting process. Wipe the spray head with a damp cloth to avoid the paint drying on the spray head.
